Built in the early 1900's this old barn used to house livestock for much of its life, until we converted it into two modern one-bed flats. The work comprised replacing the existing roof, repointing the walls, damp proofing works, adding a new concrete floor and a new 1st floor. Bespoke oak doors and windows, as well as a new kitchen, and bathrooms were added.
The standard of finish of the end product was a success, and the inside was transformed into two modern flats, while the exterior kept its original look. Using lime mortar and reclaimed roof tiles, the barn was returned as close to its original look, which meant our goal was achieved.
